Day 2: How to Think Bigger

“What do you mean, ‘If I can’?” Jesus asked. “Anything is possible if a person believes.” Mark 9:23 New Living Translation

To think bigger means to build your faith up. Based on your belief system, anything you want to do is possible with God. So how do we think bigger? Expand your faith and put the work in!

"Ask anything. Be extravagant. Ask for the moon!” Isaiah 7:10-11 The Message Version

It’s not enough to ask for your needs to be met but ask for more than enough. Let’s not settle for the bare minimum; go after the extreme. Reach for the stars, ask for the moon, and believe God will do it.

“Clear lots of ground for your tents! Make your tents large. Spread out! Think big!” Isaiah 54:1-6

God wants us to think big and to make our goals even larger. Ask God to expand your mind and how you think so He can give you more insight into thinking beyond your limitations.

Day 2 Challenge

We’ll discuss goal setting next week, but for today’s challenge, write one goal you have for 2024.

  1. Write the Goal

    1. Think bigger! Write down how your goal can be bigger and better. Examples:

      1. I want to launch my restaurant. Think Bigger: My restaurant will be launched in several locations nationwide.

      2. I want to lose weight. Think Bigger: I will lose weight, eat according to my goals, join a gym community to keep me accountable and encourage others to prioritize their health.

      3. I want to start my business. Think Bigger: My business will employ others, have headquarters nationwide, and be the leading company in my industry.

  2. Knowledge for the Goal

    1. If possible, find one conference, seminar/webinar, or class based on your goal that you can attend (in 2023 or 2024) to help you succeed in achieving that goal.

      1. Engaging with individuals who think big can encourage you to expand your own thinking.

      2. Outside of attending events, research, watch videos, read articles, and gain knowledge based on your goal.

  3. Implement the Goal

    1. Come back to this step once you’ve completed Step 2. Write down how you will implement what you’ve learned and put it into action steps.

We pray this is helpful and pushes you in the right direction.
